INTRODUCING AUTONOMOUS STRATEGY III
Early bird enrollment now until October 27
We are very pleased to report that our new workshop, Autonomous Strategy III, is now open for enrollment (it starts November 2). It’s a workshop for thinking with technology, understanding strategy in times of volatility, using one’s mind creatively, reading the landscape, and figuring out how to use tools (yes, AI tools, among others) in the most beneficial way. Each session will include a hands-on challenge and the workshop includes access to the group Telegram, which is quite interesting.

This workshop is all new material, continuing the conversation from the first two installments we piloted in February and June 2025 (Autonomous Strategy & Autonomous Strategy Lab…do you think we should hire a brand consultancy to rationalize our hierarchy?)
As you can see, we are thrilled to include a couple of bonus guest sessions – with Nymphet Alumni (who will be sharing brand new trend research and their zeitgeist approach) and Eugene Healey (who will be sharing a novel take on the concept of the personal brand).
You can read all about it on our new Autonomous Strategy web site (thank you, Violet Office).
This is a new, very rare studio photo our friend Benedicte took of us in Berlin.
Speaking of Berlin, we’ve been writing about some of the ideas informing the workshops in our recent posts…
THE CREATIVE RECESSION
“The Creative Recession” is a term we started to use around two years ago to refer to the malaise – economic and spiritual – that every sector in the wider creative industries seems to be experiencing.Nemesis Memos is a reader-supported publication. EMILY IN BERLIN
The year is 2025. Emily, one half of consulting duo Nemesis, is back in Berlin – a too-rare occurrence since she moved to Los Angeles in 2019. The idea is to work intensively on the materials for the next round of Autonomous Strategy, the tech-and-strategic-thinking workshops Nemesis piloted to semi-viral acclaim earlier in the year. But first, there wa…
Working on Autonomous Strategy and connecting with the group of people who has formed around it (over 1300 participants so far) has been one of the most interesting and enriching experiences we’ve ever had as Nemesis, and we are stoked to continue.
“This was my third installment from the Nemesis Autonomous Strategy series, and I cannot emphasize enough the level of detail and integrity that goes into these workshops. From the presentations to the challenges and the roundtable discussions that follow each session, there wasn’t a moment when I didn’t feel inspired and motivated. Emily and Martti are both seasoned professionals and gracious hosts. I look forward to the next adventure.”
“I really needed this lab in my life. Listening to Emily present and break down Nemesis processes somehow makes even the most mundane things—like “A Deck”—feel intellectual, artistic, and genuinely fun. ASL always brings up these unexpected references; it’s such a breath of fresh air, especially if you’re feeling overwhelmed by the usual LinkedIn or TikTok noise. The vibe is like stepping onto the coolest campus, except it’s all happening on Zoom and Telegram. The people taking the class are top-notch, too—bonus points for meeting seriously smart and interesting folks. You can feel a real community forming here.”
“Emily and Martti have the unique ability to consistently create advantage in an impossibly chaotic operating environment. Their workshops introduce the frameworks, perspectives, and rituals that have earned them a place as indispensable cultural interpreters and guides to some of the world’s most visionary founders, companies, and investors.”

Needless to say, we would absolutely love to have you join us. Feel free to write to us at info@nemesis.global with any questions, or just to say hello. Hope to see you there!
